Random

Abby decided she wanted to go swimming when she woke up from her nap.  She put her bathing suit, however, over all of her clothes.  She is also waring two mismatched socks that are Taylor with her flip flops.
Taylor went from crawling one week to now wanting to stand all of the time.  Here she is with Abby holding on with just one hand.  It's pretty impressive and scary at the same time.
We watched the two younger Bonow boys one morning so Tiffany could take pictures.  Here they are with Abby sitting around a candle taking turns putting sesame street characters on a candle.  It literally entertained them for about ten minutes.

Butterflies

JT was outside one morning and found a wounded butterfly that he captured and brought into Abby's room for her to see.  She was so excited.

Crawling and Potty time

Taylor has taken off in the crawling department.  I even caught her on the second step of our stairs the other day.  We pulls up on everything now and even seems to be thinking about trying to walk.  I'm not sure I want an early walker on my hands, but apparently I don't have a choice in this matter (I tried pushing her down when she would stand up, but JT didn't like that very much, just kidding).

Abby continues to make us laugh every day.  Today we were visiting JT at the office and went into the  bathroom there.  We were in one stall and a girl soon after came into the stall next to us.  The conversation went something like this.

Abby: I need to go poopoo and peepee.  (Pause)  Poopoo is coming.  And peepee, it's coming too.  Poopoo and peepee are coming.  (In walks the lady into the stall next to us and Abby, amidst grunting, continues with) She needs to go potty too, like Abby. (looks down) She has pick flip flops on, like Abby!!!  She's going peepee, yay!

All of this while Abby does nothing in the potty, but enjoying commentating on everything around her.  The poor girl next to us was probably laughing or completely embarrassed.

JT's mom sent this to us the other day about our oldest and I had to share, it made me laugh so much

she (Abby) saw tucker (her three-year-old cousin) standing up to go potty once, and sure enough, a day or two later..... you guessed it!   she was trying to climb up on the potty to stand up and pee.  i have to say, great problem solving skills!  because she had totally thought this one thru BEFORE she had to go potty.... she didn't stand there in front of the toilet and ponder how she might stand and go potty, she already knew that wouldn't work like it did for tucker.... she pulled down her breeches and immediately proceeded to climb up to stand on TOP of the potty to pee down into it!   wish i'd had a camera.... she is a livin'  DOLL!!!
(i told her only boys stand to go potty, girls sit)

Long overdue anniversary weekend picts

The night of our anniversary, JT and I went to a Rangers game against the Chicago Cubs

The next day we took the girls went to the Dallas zoo with JT's family.

Everyone went back except for JT and me.  We headed to the Magic Time Machine for dinner.  The Tooth Fairy was our server (with Jack Sparrow right behind us) and we ate next to a giant box of crayons.  Way cool!
Here is JT with our magic potion drink.  It smoked and bubbled.

California

We spent a wonderful five days visiting our really good friends in California.  The weather was gorgeous!  It made me wish Waco didn't get quite so hot in the summer (we missed temps almost reaching a hundred this weekend).  We talked a lot, played Hand and Foot, ate amazing food (thank you Lisa!) and saw lots of the fun sights around there.
The first day we went to the park while the guys hiked Mt. Diablo.
They look like they could be sisters here.
Tay is sleeping on me while Aubree is next to me under that blanket.  It was so nice to be outside and not dying of heat.

Beautiful Aniyah.  She kept us entertained and made us miss Abby even more.

That night I went to see some High School friends (it was like a mini DCHS reunion) while the dads took the girls swimming.
The next day we went up to Napa to tour a winery with wine tastings along the way.
It was beautiful!!!  Some of the prettiest country I have ever seen.
Our first wine tasting station.

Good friends.  Soooo wish we lived closer to each other.
The last day we went into San Francisco.  Here are the sea lions which were very stinky.  Adam told Aniyah that it was because of their toots.  She talked about the sea lion toots all day long.
The Sealey family.  We miss them lots.
Dinner at a seafood restaurant for my birthday.  Everything there had been caught that day.  It was awesome!

Princess Daddy

JT started calling Abby, Princess Abigail.  She really caught on fast and seemed to enjoy narrating everything "Princess Abigail" was doing (Princess Abigail is awake now, Princess Abigail needs to go pee pee, etc).  The funniest for me, though, was when she started calling JT, Princess Daddy.
Here is a picture of Princess Abigail and Princess Daddy on an elephant at the Dallas Zoo.
