Taylor's Birthday Party

We went to the park on one of the prettiest days Waco has had this year.  Really could not have been nicer which I'm so thankful for.  I love how both Wards have coffee in their hands in this picture.
We're so happy to have the Sealeys back in Waco again.
The most delicious cookies and cream ice cream cake.

All the kids were waiting ever so patiently for some cake.

 Praying for our sweet Tay

She was waiting patiently as well

She dug right in and enjoyed every bite

 Abby helped open presents

So thankful for friends to celebrate with us

Just a Preview

I am so blessed to have wonderful friends with wonderful cameras who took pictures at Taylor's birthday.  Here is one just as a preview of what's to come, compliments of Tiffany Bonow.
I mean, is that sweet or what?

Happy Birthday Taylor!!!

I took some pictures today of our little Taylor Tot on her first birthday.  We are so thankful for this beautiful, cheerful, sweet gift from God.  She is a huge blessing in our lives.

On a side non-birthday note, she is walking about 50 to 60% of the time now.

The month of September

This is what happens when the Bonow boys come to visit the Lloyds.  Abby wanted pig tails, so Rhys also wanted some.  Soon all the boys had some, while calling themselves Samaria warriors or Triceratops.
Rhys looks like he recently captured Abby in this picture.  He was really just trying to put his arm around her.
Bath time!!!  The girls LOVE taking baths together and it's my time to get some things done (while supervising them of course, don't worry Mom).

A couple of weeks ago we went to the park to play disk golf with some friends.  Abby was running when she tripped and fell, unfortunately catching herself with her face.  At least it wasn't the week before Christmas like I did at her age!

Abby and I were going to make play dough one morning while Taylor was sleeping.  We quickly realized, however, that we didn't have any salt.  So we made "goop" instead.  It's pretty much water and cornstarch, but pretty cool stuff.  It's really hard when you try to stir it, but just melts when you hold it in your hands.  Abby had the most fun coloring it, though.

Here is one of the reasons I haven't updated in awhile.  This is all the laundry I've been trying to get done the last few days.  The girls enjoyed "helping" me sort everything and put it in the washer or dryer.

Survivor

I know it's been too long.  I'm coming back soon, promise.  In the meantime, I stole this from a friend and thought it was way too good not to pass along.  http://jaredandcarissasimmons.blogspot.com/2010/09/survivor.html
If it doesn't give you goosebumps, I don't know what will.  Incredible story of strength and surviving the odds.  I know it's long, but well worth the 16 minutes to watch.
