We spent a wonderful five days visiting our really good friends in California. The weather was gorgeous! It made me wish Waco didn't get quite so hot in the summer (we missed temps almost reaching a hundred this weekend). We talked a lot, played Hand and Foot, ate amazing food (thank you Lisa!) and saw lots of the fun sights around there.
The first day we went to the park while the guys hiked Mt. Diablo.

Tay is sleeping on me while Aubree is next to me under that blanket. It was so nice to be outside and not dying of heat.
Beautiful Aniyah. She kept us entertained and made us miss Abby even more.
That night I went to see some High School friends (it was like a mini DCHS reunion) while the dads took the girls swimming.
The next day we went up to Napa to tour a winery with wine tastings along the way.
It was beautiful!!! Some of the prettiest country I have ever seen.

The last day we went into San Francisco. Here are the sea lions which were very stinky. Adam told Aniyah that it was because of their toots. She talked about the sea lion toots all day long.

Dinner at a seafood restaurant for my birthday. Everything there had been caught that day. It was awesome!
